The next day we got up early and decided to drive even further west to Punta Maria la Gorda, or fat maria's point. This would take us through a very scenic landscape with some of the worlds finest tobacco fields and would end up on the most south western point of Cuba, where we had good hopes to go diving. So rows of potholes and some more potholes and squashed crabs, no luck mating for those guys, later we wound up in a beautiful tropical diving resort with a beautiful beach. Within two hours after arrival we already had our diving gear on were exploring the corals. Really amazing and relaxing.
